Our good friend from Arizona, Subman, lost his life at this spot while geocaching last May when he was in town to attend GeoWoodstock in Fort Worth. He was much loved by the geocaching community in Arizona and Washington where he split his time. Mault was not only an avid geocacher but also an Army veteran, a family man, puzzle solver, business owner and world traveler. He will be greatly missed. To see a bit about Mault, copy and paste the following url into your browser to view a video about him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brCd20cZvQI&feature=youtu.be
Subman's friends in Arizona wanted to remember him with a memorial plaque and cache in his honor. The plaque was made by his hiking buddy, jcanyoneer, and displays trackables, pathtags and memorabilia donated by Arizona cachers which reflect Mault's love of geocaching, love of travel, and love of Arizona. Please respect this site and DO NOT remove any of the donated items. You are welcome to add something if you choose. We would like to thank paintballvet18 for leaving us this spot to place a cache in Mault's memory, as the location was originally included in his TACIT series. Rest in Peace, Subman. And for all cachers, travel safe.
