Geocache Description:


*** 4-18-20 Due to the building owners needing the space on the front porch, the cache has been moved about 20 ft and is located at the rear corner of the building. This cache is placed in memory of my dad, affectionately called "Papa" by his grand children, and he was half of the geocaching duo known as PapaNonny. He and my mom liked to come visit us here at the lake and we spent countless hours fishing and geocaching. Sadly he passed away on September 10, 2019. My dad loved to work with wood and left a legacy of beautiful projects that he worked on over his lifetime - linen chests, stools, baby cribs, lamps, bird houses, letter openers, plant shelves, and hat racks, just to name a few things. We all have several of his pieces and we treasure them. Dad crafted this geocache for me and we never had a chance to hide it before he passed away. So this cache is named in his honor. I hope you enjoy it. Cache placed with permission of owner. PLEASE LOOK FOR CACHE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY! Cache is located outside of structure. ALSO... If you go inside the store and look around you will find a TB that you can discover. Ask the cashier for help if you can't find it. Please leave a happy hello for Papa when you log this cache. We miss you Dad!
