This WWII hero was awarded the PDSA Dickin Medal, the animal award equivalent to the prestigious Victoria Cross. Commando was given this military recognition after flying more than ninety perilous missions carrying messages from the British spies in and out of Nazi-occupied France at the height of the Second World War.
Three of Commando’s most notable assignments were when the red chequer bird carried highly classified messages from the British spies in France, messages that contained information about the German troops’ location, the industrial sites as well as the number of injured British soldiers within the country.

A = On the nearby parking restructions sign, no return with A hours
B = Number of flower planters on the tall black stand
C = Look at your feet, C is the number of letters in the second word (on whichever side, they're the same) on the service hole cover.
Look behind you across the road:
DE = the two-digit number affixed to the front of the door - this is written as DE a, but ignore the 'a'
F = the number on the lampost

Limited parking is available on the roadside for a short period of time, slightly further along the road. I don't know what it's like at night, but suspect it would be very spooky, so I recommend finding this during the daytime.
There is also a rare an opportunity for time travel here - if you scope out the coordinates on Google Streetview, heading up Perrymount Road the plaque isn't there, but heading down the road it is!
