Geocache Description:

This cache is not at the posted coordinates. Tools are located there; however they are not needed for solving the puzzle.

When I was 12 or 13 I was introduced to Jethro Tull as I had unwittingly recorded one of their songs from the radio. After finding out who I was listening to I started amassing Jethro Tull albums. Eventually I had from "This Was" through most of their 70's material to some of their albums from the 80s and 90s. I would think that if I had a problem with my age it would be that I was not old enough (due to not being born) to see some of their earlier concerts as I understand their antics were right up my alley. Though I did see them in 1997 on their "Roots to Branches" tour and there were sufficient antics to keep me satisfied; besides an overall great performance.

After having done "Steely Can" I got the idea to do a Jethro Tull/Jethro Bodine puzzle cache and name it "Jethro Tool". I mentioned this to DRGW3128 at one point and got the response "but where are the tools?" This gave me pause and I responded "I don't know". Thinking further about it, I realized there were sufficient tools to find in relation to Jethro Tull, so decided  that The Beverly Hillbillies were unnecessary (which is good as I am not as familiar with them so would have to do alot of  research via binge watching. Same problem with mixing the band Tool; though in that case it would be a music spree). Thank you DRGW3128  for pointing in the right direction as after many months of looking it over and figuring out how to go about it the light bulb finally came on.

The cache is located at N40 AB.CDE W111 FG.HIJ

As this is tool related, tools would be the main thing one is thinking with. Finding the tool mentioned in the song, or referenced, then the letter indicated in the word for the tool and making that into a number will give you the final coordinates. Mind you, the word "tool" is used loosely. Addition is required on some.

A. The significance of the name Jethro Tull was not really much to the band as they had been through many names before that one stuck. They would play a bar or club with some band name and then would not get invited back. To bypass that problem they would change the band name and come back under the new name. It just happened that they got invited to perform again while performing under the name "Jethro Tull". The original Jethro Tull was an agriculturist and inventor in the 1700s. He was known mostly for inventing this tool related to seeds.

B. If one were to do some reaserch into Jethro Tull and Gerald Bostock, one would learn about the poem that Gerald wrote. It features this tool that can be used as a means of allowing one entrance to a building through the window.

C. Apparently Charlie was not that great of a thief; this would be due to the fact that in the end God was the one who stole this tool for controlling  speed.

D. In this song inspired by a Robert Burns poem, it would seem the narrator fears his rodent friend scurrying off so is using this tool to make sure he does not.

E. Rather than getting her kicks from the little boys, she has her attention drawn by a tool used for breathing.

F.  When I asked her why she used her tool on me all she did was sulk.

G. Despite the conversation amongst all the animals, there was a back up of the tool that was misplaced (or eaten) anyway.

__ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ (4th letter)

H. Ian Anderson is known for using this tool to create music.

__ __ __ __ __ (1st letter)

I. At the time that this song was written it would have mattered not to forget how many one has brought of  this tool that some people use to relieve stress. Nowadays it does not matter since the FAA prohibits their use.

J. The tool featured in this song is no longer working and will not likely be used anymore. The replacement tool is on its way to the song and is the answer being requested.

If you are having any trouble let me know and I will provide a tool to assist you.

Congratulations Infinity8 on the First to Find!
