The cache was placed to try to encourage more people to walk on the west bank of the river as opposed to the more popular Fen Rivers Way.
It is possible to treat this as a cache and dash but please do not obscure gates or driveways. There is ample parking adjacent the bridges in both Magdalen and Stow Bridge. The cache is placed less than a mile from the bridge in Stow Bridge. The complete circuit, Stow Bridge to Magdalen and back, is around six miles.
Take care in the event of especially high tides.
