Geocache Description:


The Hooker Valley walk at Mount Cook is one of the most popular walking track in the Mount Cook National Park. The Department of Conservation (DOC) maintain the track and have erected three very substantial swing bridges which cross the Hooker River.

This cache a 500ml scew top plastic container contains a logbook only is hidden  above the track behind a large rock over looking Lake Hooker and looking up towards Mt Cook.  There is a picnic area at the end of this track for you to take in the breathtaking sights or to rest up prior to returning back to the parking area.

Bring your own pen and sign the log if you wish to claim your find.

Logbook reported to be very wet, if some kind cacher could bring a replacement  log it would be very much appreciated,
