Come and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. With it's stunning vista and volcanic land forms it easily ranks among the most popular for surfers and vacationers. Take your time while searching for the cache to enjoy the beach and the rock pools at Currumbin Alley and view the amazing Currumbin Rock. A short walk South down the beach is Elephant Rock which is climbable and has magnificent views. There are a number of nice cace in the area as well.
The first waypoint is on the water's edge. It's a little memorial to a local couple who loved this place. I have been coming here for years and finally decided it was time for a cache. Sometimes the little rock is covered in sand, at other times it will be under water. Check the tides if you are targeting this cache. On the other hand, the first WP was always visible on the handful of times I came down to prepare this hide.
