Circular base surmounted by cenotaph which is supported by bronze figures of a soldier and a sailor lunging forwards with fixed bayonets. Whole is set within a landscaped area with stone steps leading up to the cenotaph. RAF wings on the top two sides of the cenotaph. Wreath and garland surmounting a cross carved at the top of the front and rear face.
