Vampy Valentines Tea Party & gift exchange

We all know Valentines day is coming up quick on the 14th of Febuary, so we thought we would hold a Vampy Valentines tea party, the following day. So come on out to this family friendly event at Cold Creek Park, we'll have the tea on, there will be socializing, TB trading going on and a firepit to keep warm by.

What exactly is afternoon tea you might ask, the simplest form of afternoon tea is meal of tea, scones and cream. If you like more sweets with your tea you have a light tea. If you like more savory flavors then you have a full tea, which is more commonly thought of by Americans as Afternoon tea. Which tea are you? If you prefer light tea, bring, some cookies, sweet breads, sweet scones, pound cake or another sweet pastry. If you prefer full tea, bring herbed bread or scones, salmon spread, cheese and crackers, chicken salad, pasta salad or another savory appetizer. And bring enough to share! We'll bring teas, cider, bagels and cream cheese. If you like, feel free to theme your item in Vampy, or Valentines day or combine the two. Your could even dress the part to if you want to.

Location: Cold Creek Park, Cottage Lake, Washington
(at the picnic shelter).

Date: Saturday 2-15-19

ACTIVITIES:

Gifl Exchange: Did you miss the 2020 Holiday Party?  Did you miss being able to participate in a gift exchange with fellow cachers?  Here's you're chance to make up for those missed opportunities.  We are going to hold a Vampy geocaching gift exchange.  Bring one wrapped gift (worth about $10) to exchange for each person that wants to receive one.  Gifts good for the geocaching lifestyle would be most appreciated.  Just like in past exchanges we'll draw for the gifts.

Caching: There are lots of caches in the Woodinville and Duvall areas, as well as a few in the Cottage Lake area. There are 4 caches in the park, 3 on a short walking path and one right in the parking lot of the event.

There will be a Trackable / Coin exchange area

Where to find us: We are going to be at picnic shelter inside the park. There is only one parking lot and the shelter at the end of the the parking lot. When you arrive at the coordinates the location will be obvious, plus we'll have the banners out, to help guide you in. There are a few picnic tables in the shelter, but if you have a favorite chair it might not hurt to bring it a long.

Firepit: We will have the firepit with us to help keep us warm and it could potentually be used to roast something over it. We'll bring along a handful of sticks, but you can bring you're own as well. If you do want to roast something you will need to bring whatever that is.

What we know will be there for food:
