Look Out For Drinking Water.
(2360 Feet).




One of a series of caches to our nearby favorite place up in the mountains along the Summer Lake Trail (SLT) which will lead you up to the Lake.



Yaz Gölü Patikası (SLT) boyunca dağlarda sizi göle götürecek olan yakındaki en sevdiğimiz yere bir dizi cache.
This cache was actually placed in 2014, 2 years later we returned to recheck coords and again this year, all the time the cache has been sitting there waiting to be found so it is about time someone had the chance to. GZ is near a water bottling plant and when the cache was placed we had the chance to look round inside and take some photos as we knew the person in charge and the plant not operating until night time when it makes use of cheaper electric. As you make your way up to The Summer Lake (as we call it) you will notice several concrete tanks where the water is tapped into and sent down the mountain to the bottling plant. There are also several water points where you can fill up water bottles as it is perfectly safe to drink, indeed you may even see local villagers filling up 20 ltr bottles just to save a few lira.

The best way to attempt this series is probably to try to get to the lake first and then do all the other caches on the way down. April to May will usually be the earliest you will be able to reach the lake by car, when we tried in Jan 14 we could only reach as far as the Snow Line Cache, if you can get a 4WD even better because the journey does get quite interesting at times.

The spoiler pictures on the Pirate Trail caches should make life a lot easier when searching for caches, not sure how to with other smart phones but if you have an Iphone, get the spoiler picture on the screen and press the off button with the button on the front of the phone at the same time and it will take a picture of what is on the screen and save it to your photo gallery so you can access the spoilers at GZs without the roaming charges.
