This was the location the 7 February 2009 Victorian Bushfires known as Black Saturday burnt across Yea Road. If you cast your eyes North towards Mt Disappointment you can still see the top of the burnt trees.
This area is a Significant Roadside vegetation by VicRoads. So please dont wander too far off the track and in the summer months watch for snakes!
