Welcome to my Greek Mythology Series! Asclepius is the Greek God of Medicine. He is a demi-god, the son of the God Apollo and the mortal Koronis. Apollo gave his son the gift of healing and shared the secrets of plant and herbal medicine. He had many children, some of whom carried on the practice of medicine. Asclepius was killed by Zeus’ thunderbolt, because Zeus saw him and his medical skills as a threat to the division between mortals and the Gods. Asclepius is usually depicted with a full beard, and carrying a staff with a sacred snake coiled around it – still a symbol of medicine in modern times. You are looking for a small, round, screw top container containing a log only, please bring your own pen. Sorry no room for swaps.
