Geocache Description:

Welcome to my Greek Mythology Series! Aphrodite is the Greek Goddess of Love, Beauty and Fertility. In Greek, the work ‘Aphros’ means foam, and one story describes the origin of Aphrodite as being born from the sea foam created when the sky god Uranus was killed and certain body parts were thrown into the sea. Another story says that she was the daughter of Zeus and Dione. Aphrodite was married to Hephaestus (also her brother), but had many other partners, and many children. Her symbols include the golden apple, dove, rose, and seashell (especially the scallop shell). You are looking for a clear, screw top tube container containing a log and pencil.
