Welcome to the 'Urban Adventures' caches, a series of Adventure type caches all within 1 hour of Geelong. As cache placements around the area seemed to have slowed down a little, I came up with the idea of promoting some good old fashioned exploration type caching from within our wider region. The purpose of this series will be to show you a unique location, take you somewhere different, or a reuptake adventure in an area you may have visited before. These caches will range in difficulty, terrain, and gear needed, with the aim to be in the reach of most who are determined to find them. Most importantly, they are about getting out and having fun in the spirit of geocaching, finding the little hidden gems of green.
Each cache in the series will hold coordinates required for bonus caches for a checker.
*WARNING*
The carpark coordinates may be 4WD in wet conditions. There is safe parking on the road about 400m before turning onto the gravel.
Whilst the park is small, it does not have many visitors or a lot of formed tracks to follow. If you got into trouble, the liklihood anyone would come across you within 48hrs is low. Make sure you're well prepared, including:
-Personal safety beacon
-First aid kit
-GPS
-Plenty of water, lunch and snacks
-Layers of clothing for cold conditions
-Sunscreen
LITTLE FOREST
This cache is located within Bungal State Forest, which is a small pocket of bushland tucked between the Moorabool river and Bungal farmlands. If you do this walk as intended loop, it will be about 12km, 5hr circuit. It will follow an attractive section of the river, and you will see remains of various gold workings. In winter and spring the Forest is alive with vivid displays of wattle and orchids.

I have added detailed Waypoints for different stages, however you can also find a GPS route for the hike here:
