La brisa del mar Caribe acaricia los gruesos muros de piedra de una urbe nacida para ser pionera de casi todo. Desde la gloriosa fachada estilo plateresco de su catedral primada a las almenas de su castillo medieval junto a la orilla del río Ozama.
