Sowerby Parochial Hall (sometimes called Sowerby Parochial Church Hall) was built in the 1930s. A major refurbishment took place in 2004/05 and a new kitchen was installed in 2019. The building is well used seven days a week.
The cache is a few hundred metres from the hall.
Find the foundation stone, on an outside wall, with the inscription that starts “This stone was laid by William – Lord Archbishop of York.”
