A Scout is Thrifty. Thrifty is defined as the skill of using money or resources carefully and not wastefully. Lincoln County is home to four thrift stores that support local charities: one of the libraries, the hospital auxiliary, the humane society, and the domestic violence shelter. There are also locations around the village to recycle cardboard and type 1 & 2 plastic containers. The village picks up yard waste and it is masticated, then composted and given for free to village residents to use in their yards and flower beds. What is your favorite THRIFTY hint?
