The salmon that spawn in our local streams are truly one of the Puget Sound's greatest resources. Keeping storm water drains clean requires a small effort for humans but can greatly affect the life cycle of salmon. Keeping carwash soap, oil, dog poop, and other contaiminants out of storm water drains goes a long way in the effort to preserve our salmon habitat.
