Welcome to Jabal Umm ad Dami, in historic Wadi Rum, the highest mountain in Jordan!
Reaching the summit takes less than 2 hours and it definitely worth it, as you get a chance to enjoy and relax your eyes skimming through the fastastic panoramic view on top. Located close to a border with Saudi Arabia, Jabal Umm ad Dami is the highest mountain in Jordan, reaching 1854 meters about the sea level.
A huge group of lithuanians have conquered the summit in the end of January, 2020. Some of us were geocachers too. And we unanimously agreed that this is a sin, that this peak does not have a cache!
About the cache: a simple PET style camouflage container with a logbook inside. Please, BYOP. And I hope to see your photos from the top! Enjoy your visit to Wadi Rum.
