My father is the one who got me into caching over a decade ago and I remember the first cache he ever placed was on this trail. It was archived many moons back, and seeing how there is nothing else placed in this park at this time I thought I would bring it back and not only share some of my nostalgia but also a fun little trail right through the middle of the Denbigh Park Swamp.
The container is a bison tube, big enough to hold the log book but that's it - bring a pen. I imagine this area gets quite wet, so even though it is a watertight container, I didn't want to take any chances, so this one is up off the ground.
This has been placed with approval by Newport News Parks and Recreation - Permit# 0241
