Welcome to a section of the Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area.
You will be walking about a half mile round trip from parking area.
The path is wide and dry most of the year. No bikes are allowed.
Bring water and snacks with you as it can be hot most of the time.
While hiking here I got barked at by a large boar which then ran away into the woods.
Be aware of your surroundings.
Enjoy the great beauty to be found and the peace and quiet away from everyday life here.
