A little piece of history here, you can find information on this schoolhouse on the placard at the site or from the Hopewell TWP historical society page. I was lucky enough to hear a few stories from my grandfather when he attended as a young child. There is NO REASON to disturb anything to find this cache. Please be sure to close securely after signing to keep watertight. Take note of the exact location of your find, the hide won't be as fun otherwise due to it being in plain sight. Just another word of caution, please do not touch the building or even get within 3’ of it. The cache is not on or against the schoolhouse. The building is in bad shape and doesn’t need any more help than Mother Nature and Father time is giving it. Use those Geo senses. Thanks and have fun!
