"Best view of Anchorage" is a micro cache hidden at what is probably the most taken photo of the Anchorage downtown skyline. Tourists and locals alike come to this location to take in the views.
Tourists on vacation should definitely visit. If you take a 'tour' of Anchorage or the downtown trolley you will stop here! Its also a good break point for those who rent bikes downtown and ride the coastal trail to the Kincaid Chalet. If you are a tourist, be sure to wander Northern Lights Blvd out to the end of the runway to watch the planes come and go!!
Locals like to take in the moonrise coming up over the mountains and the buildings of downtown. The Northern Lights can also be seen here during a brilliant showing! If there is a rainbow this would be a great spot for pics of it!!! The list of photo opps here is endless.
A good place to have a picnic lunch or dinner and watch the tide come and go. Or maybe its a day to sit and ponder or 'reflect' on the goings on of the world...good or bad!
This is a high muggle area so PLEASE use some stealth in finding the cache! Once found sign the log away from the cache and return after doing so!!! Bring your own writing utensil and remember the cache is NOT found until your name is on the log!!!
