Geocache Description:

The small parish Church of St. James in Little Clacton dates back to the early 1100's and is an almost completely unspoilt example of eary Norman architecture. The entrance porch was built in 1381, the tower has three bells, the oldest of which was cast in 1437. The oldest window is the narrow Norman window to the north of the alter, and then the 14th centuary west window. ***Congratulations to Original Red Hen for being First to Find***
