MoTrail - Două loturi
Părţile în care este împărțit un teren se numesc loturi. Dar cuvântul are mai multe înţelesuri, poate însemna şi bilet de loterie.
"Două loturi" este o nuvelă scrisă de Ion Luca Caragiale. Personajul principal este domnul Lefter Popescu, care și-a cumpărat două bilete de loterie. Aflând că biletele au ieșit câștigătoare, le caută, dar nu le mai găsește. Lefter răscolește toată casa, dar biletele nu sunt nicăieri. Își amintește că le-a pus în jacheta pe care soţia sa o dăduse unei ţigănci în schimbul a 10 farfurii. Dupa ce, înfuriat, sparge toate farfuriile, pleacă în căutarea țigăncii care cumpărase jacheta. Lefter recuperează jacheta dar nu și biletele. Dimineţa următoare, când merge la serviciu, observă în biroul lui două hârtiuțe mici care erau biletele. Fericit, se apucă să-şi scrie demisia, pe care o pune pe masa şefului. Când merge să-și încaseze câștigul află însă că numerele erau câștigătoare fiecare la cealaltă loterie, spunându-i-se că acestea sunt viceversa. Șocat de descoperire, ghinionistul face o criză de furie necontrolată. În deznodământ naratorul o înfățișează pe doamna Popescu călugăriță, cu mintea zdruncinată, strângând și ascunzând cioburi de străchini, iar pe Lefter Popescu un bătrân singuratic rătăcind pe străzile Bucureștiului, spunând încontinuu cuvântul "viceversa".
Toate "loturile" pe care le veţi găsi în această geocutie sunt câştigătoare şi vă puteţi loga pe oricare. Dar am o provocare...
Cel mai popular joc de loterie în România este "6/49". Provocarea este să puneţi la loterie numerele de pe "lotul" pe care v-aţi logat şi să ne povestiţi apoi dacă aţi devenit milionari. Un procent din câştig merge la cel care v-a dat numerele. :)
Ideea acestui trail mi-a venit la faţa locului, când, vrând să văd biserica de lemn de la mănăstirea Bălan, am fost curios să văd unde duce drumul mai departe. Şi am tot mers, am intrat în pădure, neînţelegând ce e cu podeţele făcute recent şi cu balustradele montate pe traseu. Am aflat că nu prea duce nicăieri. În schimb, am descoperit un loc frumos unde m-aş întoarce, aşa că am pus un trail ca să am un motiv în plus să revin. Vara trebuie să fie şi mai frumos!
Denumirea "MoTrail" vine de la "Monastery Trail", adică "Drumul mănăstirii", inspirat de faptul că drumul există şi e accesibil datorită Mănăstirii Bălan care se află pe traseu. Consider că nu este un Power Trail pentru că am pus şi cutii mai grele, ca teren sau dificultate de a le găsi. Am încercat şi am reuşit, zic eu, să fac cutii diferite, să nu fie plictisitor, însă nu vă aşteptaţi la ceva spectaculos, nu intenţionez să investesc timp şi bani pentru cutii deosebite care vor fi căutate doar o dată pe an. Dacă trailul va avea un succes răsunător promit să-l îmbunătăţesc. :)
Traseul complet are lungimea de circa 6 kilometri şi se poate face pe jos, cu bicicleta şi parţial cu maşina (până la cutia "MoTrail - Bucură-te de linişte", de unde se poate continua doar cu maşină 4x4). Cele care se pot face cu maşina au fost puse în apropierea unui loc unde se poate parca.

MoTrail - Two lots
The lots are distinct portion or land, usually smaller than a field. But the word has more meanings, one of them being lottery, lottery ticket.
"Two lots" is a novel written by Ion Luca Caragiale (a well known Romanian short story writer). The main character is Mr. Lefter Popescu, who bought two lottery tickets. Finding that both tickets turned to be winners, he looks for them, but doesn't find them. Lefter ransacks the whole house but the tickets are nowhere. He then remembers putting them in his jacket that his wife gave to a gypsy woman in exchange for 10 plates. Angry, he breaks all the plates, then goes in search of the gypsy who had bought the jacket. Lefter recovers the jacket but not the tickets. The next morning, when he went to work, he noticed in his office two small papers that were the tickets. Happy, he begins to write his resignation, which he puts on the boss's table. When he goes to collect his winnings, however, he learns that the numbers were winners each at the other lottery, being told they are vice-versa. Shocked by the discovery, the unlucky man goes through a crisis of uncontrolled anger. In the dénouement, the narrator portrays Mrs. Popescu, a nun with a shaken mind, gathering and hiding bits of dishes, and Lefter Popescu a lonely old man wandering the streets of Bucharest, repeating the word "vice-versa".
All the "lots" that you will find in this geocaches are winners and you can log on any one. But I have a challenge ...
The most popular lottery game in Romania is "6/49". The challenge is to play at the lottery the numbers on the "lot" that you have logged in and then tell us if you have become a millionaire. A percentage of the profit goes to the one who gave you the numbers. :)
The idea for this trail came to me when I wanted to see the wooden church from the Bălan monastery and I was curious to see where the road goes. And I kept going, I went into the woods, not understanding what it was with the recently made bridges and the railings mounted on the route. I found out that it doesn't really go anywhere. Instead, I found a nice place to return to, so I set up a trail so I could have another reason to return. It should be even more beautiful in the summer!
The name "MoTrail" comes from "Monastery Trail", inspired by the fact that the road exists and is accessible due to the Bălan Monastery which is on the route. I think it is not a Power Trail because some caches are a bit more difficult being harder to find or having a higher terrain rating. I have tried and succeeded, I's say, to make them different so it won't become boring to find, but don't expect something spectacular, I have no intentions to invest time and money for great caches that will be searched only once a year. If the trail has an outstanding success I promise to improve it. :)
The complete route is about 6 kilometers long and can be done on foot, by bicycle and partly by car (up to "MoTrail - Enjoy the peace", after that cache you can continue only with a 4x4 car). Those that can be made by car have placed close to a parking spot.
