Welcome to the Arve River Picnic Area, a great spot to stop for a bite to eat or to explore, on the way to or from the nearby Hartz Mountain National Park!
Besides stopping for a picnic, it's also a great spot to camp for a night or two (camping is free but space is limited), or to go exploring the Arve River itself. As far as Little MIss Nataliec1234 is concerned though, one of the main attractions is the huge old stump immediately adjacent to the carpark. Between its raised sides and a few higher throne-like spots, she's convinced it makes an excellent castle!
We've placed the cache in a spot not very far from the "castle". Please note that the area can be quite busy - especially on warmer days - so watching out for muggles is a must. Cache has room for small swaps but doesn't contain a writing implement - please remember to bring your own!
