We are from Minnesota and are here visiting snowbirds in Gulf Shores. We really enjoyed visiting and geocaching in Gulf State Park on our last visit down here, so we wanted to have an event to bring others to this wonderful park! This event will be a combination of Geocaching 101 and a meet and greet, depending on who shows up! This event is open to all geocachers, friends, family, and visitors to the park. If you haven't been here before, there are some great caches in the park so plan to spend some time here!
We will gather at the Front Picnic Pavilion at the Lake Shelby Picnic Area. There is free parking nearby, as well as restrooms and bike rentals. Please note that no alcohol is allowed in the park. The event will be held rain or shine. Swimming is optional. Bring trackables to trade.
