Geocache Description:


This cache is placed is concert with the lab Adventure cache “Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery”.

I have wanted to place a cache here for awhile, but though there are two other caches here, the cemetery does not allow physical caches to be placed here.
However I was allowed to use virtual locations for this cache and the labs as public visiting is encouraged and allowed. This cache is hidden off the grounds.
Once you have finished the lab cache, you will be given a code phrase to put into the geochecker and you will them be given coordinates to the final of this cache.

There are 38 monuments in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
There are over 33,000 men and woman who are buried in this cemetery.
Those of who have served in the military both on and off the field as well as family members who meet the criteria’s first placement here.
You will find monuments dedicated to both men and woman as well as to events that have happened in Rhode Island history.

Please remain respectful of the monuments and those who are visiting loved ones and friends while here.
From time to time you May come across a funeral.
Please be respectful of those families. None of the monuments will interfere with them.
However please make sure that if you are driving the lab cache that you do not park in the middle of the road.
There is parking spaces provided along the main road if you are going to walk.
There are small trails along the edge of the cemetery that are open to the public as well.
