Geocache Description:

The Marracoonda Baptist Church is built of local stone with locally made brick corners and has a steep pitched corrugated iron gable roof. The interior of the church features wide jarrah tongue and groove flooring and a raised alter. The foundation stone was laid by Mrs Metters, the wife of the Rev Alfred Metters who was based at Katanning, on 3 June 1903.

There is no indication of when the last service was held in the church.

The locality name comes from the Marracoonda Pools in the nearby Carrolup River.
