Geocaching is free. Of course we all know that.
However to get the most out of the game people will usually need to spend a little money here and there.
One of the expenditure lines is for Tools of The Trade aka TOTTs.
There are many of these ranging from things which help you to solve puzzles, project coordinates, or to access a GZ or a cache at a GZ. Some caches can not be accessed without a specific TOTT. And sometimes this requirement is reflected in either or both of the D and T ratings.
This series contains caches which you will probably find easier with one or more TOTTs. Whether it is working out the final location or accessing the cache once there, there will be something where a TOTT will help. But part of the fun is that we won't necessarily tell you in advance which TOTT you might need. Of course this may not be a problem for the experienced cacher. But for newer ones some of these might open a new window of opportunities.
This is #04 in the series. It is a wherigo.
Please read the entire page before starting. There is important information lower down.
Wherigos can contain all sort of elements including some which may require one or more TOTTs. And they can contain puzzle elements as this one does.
This is a Reverse Wherigo by -waldmeister-
You will need to enter three numbers to play the cartridge. The puzzle is that you will need to use a TOTT to find a modifying number to get the three 6 digit numbers you need to play the cartridge.
You need to find a different 6 digit number. This is hidden near the posted coordinates. You will need a TOTT to find it. And you will need to work out where it is hidden. The checksum for the six digits is 26.
Once you have found the 6 digit number you should add it to each of the three numbers below and you will have the three numbers you need to play the wherigo.

And here are the instructions you need to download the wherigo cartridge.
In order to find this Reverse Cache you need to download a Wherigo cartridge made by -Waldmeister-
It is located here.
After starting it you will have to type in these three numbers when asked:
First number
Second number
Third number
Every time you ask it, the cartridge will tell you your distance from the cache, but not the direction.
Based on this information you should eventually be able to deduce the final location.
Once you get within about 20 metres from the cache, the cartridge will give you exact coordinates.
You may need one or more TOTTs at GZ.
The wherigo may lead you in any direction. Please be aware that while this entire park is all shared use, Adelaide City Council recommends people do not walk through a paddock with horses in it. They are usually only in one of the paddocks at any one time. There should always be an empty paddock to use as an alternative path to get to any spot in between paddocks.
We would like to acknowledge that this cache is based on the very first Reverse Wherigo GC357G1 created and hidden by -Waldmeister-
GC357G1 is in Regensburg in Germany and Brad&Janet were very happy to find the this original one on 30 June 2019.
