Geocache Description:

Seen a nice pull-off when heading home after checking out Kinzua Dam area.... thinking of adding another cache close by... decided against a guardrail, then looked down...Nope, not without a rope...Then looked across the road...and seen an awesome area of biological weathering...

So, thought, a great place.....Now, how to get there!!!  Please use caution as a very busy road at times.... and not a spot for young kids.

Biological weathering - The trees appear to be growing out of the rocks. In reality, these tree roots are growing in soil that is located in the cracks of the rocks...The snow and water help to break down the rock and form small pieces of soil, called Chemical Weathering... Then the trees can put down roots through these cracks to find moisture... As the tree grows, the roots will gradually split the rock into 2 or more pieces... (ref. www.uen.org)

Please place back as found to protect, thanks.
