This geocache is placed in Puke Kopipi, a restoration project by the local community to replant and restore Ngunguru Hill. A short steep walk to the cache site will reward you with amazing views over the Ngunguru Estuary and out to the coast.
The cache is hidden on a seat that was put in by my family in 2018, in dedication to my auntie who passed away from cancer in 2012. You are looking for a bison tube, with camo attached. No room for trackables, bring your own pen. In winter the cache might be a tight to remove, it should just pull out, but it may need a bit of twisting to remove. If you think you've found it, but can't remove it, then feel free to send me a photo as proof of your find.
