In order to find this cache, you will need to complete the "Edmonton's Church Street- CARW2020" Adventure Lab". This Adventure Lab can be found at https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/ChurchStreet. After each of the five locations at the Adventure Lab, you will receive a few of the numbers necessary to find the final coordinates for this cache.
Edmonton's Church Street (96 Street) is an often-overlooked area of the Edmonton inner city. Located at the crossroads of Chinatown, Little Italy, and several other historically working class neighbourhoods, Church Street features 12 churches between 106 Avenue and 111 Avenue. Most of these churches feature historical plaques to explain their history and the (most often) immigrant communities that founded each congregation. In some instances, the church buildings are used today by the same denomination and cultural groups that founded them. In other cases, they have been repurposed by other congregations or uses- such as the Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples (Indigenous Catholic), Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (now "Rhema Chapel") or even St. Stephen the Martyr Church (now an architectural firm and event hosting space).
This final cache is located within several blocks of Church Street, at a location that is a bit less visible than anywhere right on 96 Street itself. Church Street, and the Boyle-McCauley neighbourhood, is an inner city neighbourhood that faces conventional inner city challenges. As you complete the Adventure Lab, you may encounter people who are homeless or relying on the various social agencies that can be found in the neighbourhood. The area is generally safe during the daytime, but you will see visible poverty and inner city issues. Out of respect for the residents who live in this neighbourhood and for your own safety, completing the Adventure Lab or this final cache at night is strongly discouraged.

1. This CARW2020 cache will be published about 6pm on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
2. This cache has been placed for the CARW event with the intention that it not be located prior to 9:00 a.m. Saturday February 22, 2020. The caches for the CARW event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes and strategies prior to the event start.
3. Should you hunt and find this cache before the event start, it will not count for the event, and FTF points are only valid as of 9AM February 22nd.
