These caches are located along a stretch of Canal Main FSR, centered around the Mactush campground. The campground itself is only open seasonally, but the road is open year-round. Monday through Friday, expect some degree of industrial traffic, including loaded logging trucks. Road surface conditions vary greatly depending on season and how much road maintenance logging companies are willing to pay for.
At the time of placement, the road was in pretty poor condition, with some deep potholes, sections of washboard, and some small washout. However, everything can be accessed by a 2 wheel drive car. All caches were hidden at wide pullout areas, for safety.
This cache is tlocated by a main gate for the Mactush Campground. Cache is hidden outside the campground.
