At the posted coordinates you will not find the cache but you will see gateposts that are made of Scrabo sandstone. Mountpleasant House was the home of Lieutenant Colonel Robert Blair Mayne, a famous son of Newtownards. He was a highly decorated soldier, a founder member of the Special Air Service, an Irish, and British Lion's, rugby player and a solicitor.
