Geocache Description:


Bring a pen. Winter mushroom hunting is one of my favorite pastimes. Go explore and see all the varieties you can find while hiking and caching. DON’T pick any to eat or disturb them, enjoy all the colors you can see. One of my favorites to find locally is the Oyster Mushroom(pleurotus ostreatus). Actually just 10-15 ft southward from my cache oyster mushrooms spring forth at the base of one of the trees near.... keep an eye out when you drive by. Congratulations FTF Azulijewel
