Here, you will find a memorial cabin dedicated to Ben von Hardenberg, a helicopter pilot who lost his life while trying to put out a forest fire in 2003. It was constructed by the citizens of Dewdney in 2005.
To find this geocache, navigate to the back of the cabin, and find the blue water barrel. Use the following image to help you extract the relevant clues..
- Extract \(a\), \(b\), \(c\), \(d\), and \(e\) off the left-hand side of the barrel.
- Extract \(x\) and \(y\) off the right-hand side of the barrel.
- Extract \(p\), \(q\), \(r\), and \(s\) off the sticker on the front of the barrel.
Use the numbers you collected to calculate the coordinates of the final geocache, which is only a short walk away.
