Welcome to the Brain Teaser series! In this series, you will be presented with a brain teaser that you must solve in order to find the cache location. The puzzles in this series will vary in difficulty and skill but all are doable with a little effort. Good luck!
For this puzzle, you will need access to a standard 3 x 3 puzzle cube (if you don't own one, you may find a virtual one online). From the semi-scrambled cube, think of the 2 to 3, quarter turn moves it requires to solve. Each move corresponds to a number in the top image.
Example: Assuming the first cube equals 35, you turn the middle slice to bring the [green-yellow-yellow] area down with the rest of the reds (a "3" move), then you rotate the right-hand face up so the [white-white-white] line joins the rest of the white (a "5" move). There you go! Easy peasy... right?
