Out and About Latrobe is a 7 cache series. This series takes you to some nice places in latrobe either it be for a view, information or a stroll. I hope you like this series as these are some wonderful places. I have really enjoyed placing these caches and i hope that you have enjoyed finding them.
Thompson Park
Thompson Park is the second cache in this series. The park is a lovely place to walk with a caravan park near by. the centre of the park is a dog offleash zone the path however is an onleash zone. the footpath where the cache was placed used to be a railway line. there is an information board near the cache as well. If you follow the path to the river there used to be a bridge there which people could fish off. the bridge was removed a while ago unfortunately. About 400 metres away is bells parade. Bells parade has a playground, toilet, BBQ area and seats.
The cache is a green 75ml container with a log and small pencil. i will still advise to bring your own pen.
YOUR CACHE LOG WILL BE DELETED IF YOU DO NOT SIGN THE LOG BOOK IN THE CACHE
