Now that the covid restrictions have mostly ended, it's time to get out and continue celebrating our 20th anniversary. Please join me at the Brookside shelter at Carpenters Brook Fish Hatchery on Augest 14th from noon til three for a picnic. This will be a potluck event with hot dogs, hamburgers, rolls, condiments, plates and utensils provided by the host. Please bring a dish to pass and whatever beverages you desire. There are grills and electrical outlets at the shelter.
The park has a restroom and play area for the kids, as well as several caches on the trails. Parking is adjacent to the shelter.
NOTE: As per state and county guidlines for covid-19, all unvaccinated persons must still wear a mask and practice social distancing.
