Welcome all cachers and trail lovers!!
We are thrilled to be celebrating all kinds of things. First, let's celebrate 30 years of the Butler Freeport Community Trail. Way to go!! The trail will be celebrating their 30th anniversary with an event just up the trail from us. So, come early if you like and join them from 10:00 AM until 2:00PM. Come see us and sign the log book beginning at noon and ending 2. We will be celebrating 20 years of geocaching with a COMMUNITY CELEBRATION which will coincide with the relaunch of the Butler Freeport Trail Historic Geotrail. The new geotrail will include 7 of the previous caches plus 13 new smileys for everyone to grab. We will have the geocoins on display for anyone who chooses to complete 15 of 20. The official relaunch oif trail will follow the event at 2:00 PM.
Bring your boots or your bike and come ride or hike the scenic trail. Caches hidden by BFT Geocaching will highlight 20 historic locations along the trail as well as take you to great locations like the Audibon Society's new Nature Center. We encourage you to bring famiily and pets and come enjoy a great day of celebrating, geocaching, and enjoying the outdoors.
