Come One Come All !!!!
We are having a Community Celebration Event on Saturday May 21 from 4 to 6PM, or untill we all go home.
First a word about the event site: there's plenty of room for social distancing if desired. It will be outdoors on 2 acres in a parklike setting. The owners have given their enthusiastic permission.
Don't worry about muggles in the area, other than those that you may bring along. Four legged cachers are allowed. There is parking on site for all. The picnic area contains a redwood grove and open areas so the temperature may be hot or it may be cold. In other words 'bring a sweater'. There are picnic tables and a BBQ and fire pit. A good idea would be to bring your favorite folding chair. We will provide the meat: hot dogs & burgers. Otherwise, it's a POTLUCK!! Bring your favorite Spring dish or drink for all to enjoy.
We will have a Trackable exchange and discovery table. There may even be a few geocaching type games and raffle. Mainly, this is a chance to get out and communicate with your fellow geocachers again, FINALLY! in the great outdoors.
In the event that the local Goverment or Health Authority requests a ban on gatherings the event will have to be postponed. Hopefully this will not happen, AGAIN. So if all remains good we will see you all at the Celeberation event
