Welcome to the 119th KT event and - surprisingly - the first one to be held in Knutsford.
The event will keep to the well established KT formula of food, drink and geochat in a friendly local pub - full details including menus can be found here: Legh Arms, Knutsford. The current menu will still be in place for our event, and as it's a Wednesday night there'll be 'Let's spice things up' specials on offer too.
Some new caches and/or an adventure lab will go live at 8pm, offering a short circular walk around town from the pub for those who want to head out as a group. This will be mostly along pavements, possibly across a grassy park, and may include a stretch along a track that gets muddy after rain.
Fittingly for a Community Celebration Event, this date is also World Gratitude Day so please do take the time to feel and express some gratitude with one another as we celebrate together at this event. Other 'day' options are available for 21st September. So if World Gratitude Day is just a bit too much for you, then I hope you will find another one that suits you better. Just be grateful for that instead...
If you plan to come along, please post a Will Attend log, ideally by the weekend before the event, to let me know the number of attendees and whether or not you expect to be eating. I can then keep the pub updated on our group size, so that they can prepare for us and ensure that the event runs smoothly. If you want to preorder from the menu, then please include that in your log and I'll pass that on too - I'm told that this is really helpful for them to know. Thank you!
KT events
A monthly cache event series started by Khoomfay and Young Thropp (hence "KT") in 2011. All cachers are welcome to come along. The KT series of events do have some regular attendees and they warmly welcome all non-regular and brand new attendees. The event moves around the North West each month and attracts different people in each venue. If you've not been to a KT event before, please do log a 'Will Attend' so we can look out for you. Please do come and join in the fun. We would love to meet you. Most people stay for the evening, but there is no need to buy food or drink to attend the event - you can just pop in to say hello and sign the log book, if you prefer.
Community Celebration Events - 2020
