4009 NW 53rd Ave., Gainesville, FL. 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. I will hold a table at the pavilion where there just might be donuts. All who attend will receive the Community Celebration icon for attending (if you don't already have one). The opportunity to get this icon ends on December 31, 2022.
Possum Creek Park offers many activites for families. There is an off-leash dog park, children's playground, a walking path that circles the park and a nature trail that takes you down to Possum Creek. The kids love the skate park here. There's a couple traditionals and a fun WIG in the park area. Nearby are many more caches for those of you who don't already have them. The event is close to Devil's Millhopper State Park and if you haven't been there, you'll find it very interesting and again there are several caches.
This event is for new cachers and those more experienced and everyone inbetween. If you are new and have questions on caching, come on out. We would love to meet you and swap caching stories. For those of you with unsolved puzzles, bring them with you and I hope someone will be able to get you on the right track. I have a couple of my own nearby that I have solved but need help finding.
Bring your trackables to swap or discover. There most likely will be some raffle prizes.
The deadline to hold this event was extended to 12/31/2022 due to Covid.
