This cache is part of our Scenic Canopy Road series.
Please be SAFE when going after these caches!
This is a high speed road, so please don't let your children ❌🚸 join you on these caches!
1. Make sure you use your turn signal 🚥 and safely pull off the road, please watch out for speeding cars on either side of the road. Do not try and cross the road on foot, 🏃♂️ if need be go down a short ways to where it is safe to turn around.
2. Pull completely off the road, all four wheels must be off the road 🚗 (If not you could be ticketed 🚔 for this)
3. Turn your flashers on, 🚘 this allows others to see that you are there and are aware of you.
4. Safely get in and out of your car when going for this cache. The vehicles 🚑 going by are doing 55 MPH or MORE!
5. You may still be stopped and questioned by the FWC State Police officer or other police officers 🚔 about your intentions. Please tell them the truth and if need be explain what geocaching is. Please be respectful, they are only doing their job.
6. Wear a safety vest 👷♂️ if you have one, they can easily be purchased and will help you be seen and invisible at the same time, people see you but ignore you thinking you're working.
7. Please once again, DO NOT let you small children 👨👧👦 join you, it only takes seconds for your back to be turned signing a log for a terrible tragedy to happen.
Please take a few seconds to close the container and baggy properly.
What takes you a few seconds to do, saves us from spending hours and 💰 $ MONEY $ 💸 replacing swag, logs 📒 and containers. 🛢
