Queens Park was created in 1857 as Glasgow's third park and was named after Mary Queen if Scots.
initial plans was to have a loch, having it bridges by Langside Road which runs between the park and the Victoria Hospital. However it did not materialise and it wasn't until the Campbell area was bought, did a water feature arise. Local legends also say that after the battle of Langside, the bodies of Queen Mary's army were buried here, under the pond but there has never been any evidence to suggest such...... yet!

Please re-hide well, the plant will help you
happy hunting!
oh and please be aware of sudden banshee attack sounds from small children. While hiding this cache, It was almost a clean up at isle three when said child was feeding the ducks and a flock of swans, gulls and pigeons flapped round the child causing her to panic, drop her seed and let out her scream.
