Do not go to the posted coordinates - the cache is not there and you will get wet!
A series of puzzle caches based on my favourite books. I've read and loved them all, and wholeheartedly recommend each one.
I've deliberatly not repeated authors in this first volume (or in the soon-to-be-released volume 2) and I've tried to match the book title to the location or the container to the book title where this was possible. Hopefully some of these attempted connections will be noticed!
I recommend following the caches in number order, as some of the foot paths appearing on maps and apps are no longer public (as I found out when expecting to create a 'loop', and ending up with a 'route').
The 'Parking' waypoint assumes you'll start at the start (as all good books do), however I guess you could just as easily follow in reverse order if you preferred! There is a residential area close to the end of the route, but no designated public parking that I know of there.
The total distance from start to finish is approx. 2 miles (or 3.3km) and takes you along a stunning stretch of the Jubilee River, through the beautiful and peaceful Dorney Wetlands, which is bursting with all manner of amazing wildlife.
All caches are in safe places a good distance from the river-bank but, as always near water, please keep an eye on little ones.
In the main, the paths are even and wide, however there are 2 or 3 'off-piste' diversions to reach a final GZ.
Generally speaking bikes and pushchairs should be fine, but wheelchairs may have more of a challenge in those places.
