An easy cache in pretty St Peter's Square, Hammersmith. PLEASE NOTE: This area can get quite busy, especially on weekends. Please be discreet when retrieving and replacing the cache. The cache is not 24hrs, the gardens close at dusk!!!
St Peter's Square is a little green oasis surrounded by beautiful white Georgian houses. The houses are occasionally used in television shows and there is a true story of "blood" from a Silent Witness murder staining the stairs of one of the houses which cost quite a bit to clean up.
The public garden is Grade II listed on the English Heritage Register of Historic Parks and Gardens and is 1.5 ha in size. The centre of the garden is occupied by a sculpture, The Greek Runner, by Sir William Blake Richmond, which was erected in 1926.
The coordinates should lead you to two seats. I recommend sitting on the one from where you can see the houses beyond the flagpole. Watch out for the birds from above! You have been warned but I'm hoping that puts off muggles from sitting here. There is no need to damage the host plant. Please use stealth and replace carefully with the bison top in the hole at the back.
