The Chinese Zodiac, known as Sheng Xiao, is based on a twelve-year cycle, each year in that cycle related to an animal sign. These signs in order are the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. It is calculated according to Chinese lunar calendar.
But wait! There is no year of the FROG!?!?!
So, here is a chance to proclaim 2020 the year of the frog!
But wait! Why would we claim it as the year of the FROG???
Because it is a LEAP YEAR!!!!
And what better way to celebrate a Leap Year than by celebrating in the way of the FROG - by GEOCACHING!

In Honour of the Leap Year, we are having an hour of activities related to things that occur once every four years!
While participation in the activities is not required to log your attendance, why not try your hand (or foot) at winter snow-soccer!
Maybe we can conjure up some Olympic events fitting for a winter wonderland!
Perhaps an election? Hmmm... Maybe not on that one....
Or, if nothing else, we can reminisce about the Amorphophallus titanum, although that is not a reliably quadrennial event..
But above all else, make sure to get out, and get this particularly irksome day filled on your geocaching calendar, lest you opine for 2024!
