Who is David?
Along with a handful of other cachers, I have celebrated a lot of miles and smiles with David. Always willing to walk and search but never to log. I have learned a great deal from David. For instance, search with my eyes and not my GPS. Like our many adventures, you will get your daily steps when signing the log for this cache. Explore the Hellam Hills as you hike and cache. Plan for at least 2+ hours to travel 4+ miles.
Posted coordinates are for parking. There is a pull off at the corner of Chimney Rock Rd and Furnace Rd with room for 3-4 cars. Cross Furnace Rd and continue back the trail until you meet the Mason Dixon Trail (blue blazed trail). Cache has been placed with permission from the Lancaster Conservancy.
